Maximum 7 Students
This 2.5-hour class is designed for students who have prior hand building and wheel experience and want to continue advancing their skills. Perfect your centering technique, pull even walls, and learn how to trim leather hard clay. Our goal will be to create unique objects, like cups, bowls, and small plates that explore a variety of decorating and glazing techniques. Clay and firing fees are separate. A 25 lb. bag of brown or white stoneware clay costs $18 for students who need to purchase clay. Firing fees are 6 centers per cubic inch, are due by the end of the semester, and will be collected by the instructor. Note: You might get muddy, so wear an old shirt or apron. Bring water to stay hydrated. Free open studio time is included for enrolled students and will be discussed at the first class.
