All Levels of watercolorists welcome! This class will focus on watercolor techniques that best help students capture a sense of realism in their watercolor work. We will work from both photo and in-person references with opportunities for personal projects, paying special attention to color and value structure to create volume and bring paintings to life.
This class will cover a variety of subjects from still life to structures and birds to botanicals, working through both the drawing and painting process. Each class will begin with a friendly and supportive critique and instructor-led demonstrations. Students will receive individualized attention throughout the class to help them achieve their personal painting goals.
