Drawing and Painting for Kids with Rosalie Marcus, ages 8-10, Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm, starts September 21

Ages:  8-10 years old

This is a new class for young children about learning how to use the basic tools for drawing and painting and having a fun time while they’re doing it!  Every week students will use a variety of materials and learn the basics of composing a drawing, making a watercolor painting, or telling a story with a cartoon.  The class will emphasize observation skills by playing weekly memory games.  Experimentation and personal expression will be taught in a supportive atmosphere where each student will be able to work at their own level while participating in the group lessons.  All materials will be supplied.  Please wear appropriate clothing or bring a smock.  Artwork on display in our gallery will be shown to the students to encourage and inspire.
