Dear Members and Friends of the Putnam Arts Council:
2019 has been a most productive and exciting year full of many opportunities for artists and audience including 9 exhibitions, ongoing educational offerings, monthly artist forums, and a thriving grant funding program that supported 27 cultural projects presented throughout Putnam County. These colder, shorter days tell us the year is winding down and that it is time, once again, for us to reach out to you, our friends and members, to raise funds for the arts through our Annual Giving Appeal.
Grassroots support is essential to our continued growth and development and although programs of the Putnam Arts Council are partially supported with public funds, now more than ever, we depend on private support from people who care about the arts and want to protect and preserve them. People like you, our friends and members.
This year’s Appeal will focus on the expansion of our Gallery and Educational Programs. A tax-deductible donation of any size will be most appreciated and will help us to achieve our goal to raise $7500. Donations can be made through our secure website (click here) or via snail mail using the enclosed form and return envelope.
