Please join the Putnam Arts Council on Sunday for a special show celebrating the life and works of Ed Dabrowski, a beloved, talented, and respected artist and friend that we lost too soon. This exhibition features a collection of Ed’s recent artworks that showcase his unique vision, exceptional skill, and profound artistic journey.

Artists 18 years and older are invited to submit up to two pieces of original fine art for jury consideration; work must have been completed within the past three years and not previously exhibited at PAC. Artwork in all media is accepted and artists throughout the region are invited to participate. This is a juried entry show, awards will be given.
Jeanne Demotses Excellence in Arts Awards: Best in Show $150, Second Place ($100) and Third Place ($75), honorable mentions at the discretion of the juror.
Work drop-off: Saturday September 30th and Sunday October 1st, 2-5pm. Hand delivered to PAC at 521 Kennicut Hill Road, Mahopac.

ARTS LINK encourages the growth of artists and arts organizations, connects artists with their communities, and helps to build a local and regional audience for the arts.
The Program facilitates the presentation of quality arts exhibitions, performances and activities throughout Putnam County that are open to the public.
The Putnam Arts Council manages the submission and review process for the ARTS LINK Grant Awards and disseminates public funds received from the New York State Council on the Arts through its Statewide Community Regrant Program, with support from the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature, as well as awards from Putnam County government.
GUIDELINES for 2024 ARTS LINK GRANTS are now available and an online application will be available shortly.
Eric Arctander Gallery at the Putnam Arts Council, & the Southeast Museum
The Putnam Arts Council and the Southeast Museum commemorate the 60th anniversary of their inception this year. In celebration of this significant milestone, they have united their efforts to champion the beauty and heritage of Putnam County. In collaboration with Putnam County Tourism, they extend an invitation to local artists and historical organizations, urging them to participate in an exhibition that captures the essence of Putnam County.
All submissions will be accepted, prizes will be awarded, and the work will be exhibited in the A. Eric Arctander Gallery, and the Southeast Museum This opportunity looks to not only involve artists but also engage historical institutions in the pursuit of showcasing the enduring allure of Putnam County, both in its contemporary vibrancy and its cherished past.
Artists 13 years or older are invited to submit up to two pieces of original art created in the prior twelve months. All media accepted. Works must feature outdoor Putnam County scenes.

The A. Eric Arctander Artist Grant was created by his family and friends to honor Eric not only as an artist but as a teacher, mentor and friend of younger artists who assisted them in pursuing a life in art.
The purpose of the GRANT is to support a VISUAL ARTIST. The application process is now closed. The scholarship stipend is $500 and will be awarded around July 15th, 2023, at the opening of the July Arts Show opening.
