In an effort to develop audiences for the arts and to offer artists opportunities to showcase their work, the Putnam Arts Council manages The Levine Art Gallery within its facility, the Belle Levine Art Center, which has reopened (March 1, 2010) and is fully renovated. See the gallery schedule below for details.

An Evening in the Round with Montgomery Delaney
Singer/songwriter Montgomery Delaney will host a 3 person Songwriters Circle performance including Steve Kirkman and Kelly Flint featuring some home grown Hudson Valley tunes. It is apparent as soon as they start singing why all three performers have strong followings. Plans are for two sets and the debut of several new tunes.
Tickets are $15.00 in advance ($18 at the door) and reservations are requested as seating is limited. Contact the Arts Council at 845-278-0230.

USO Show at Belle Levine Art Center

US Flag
On the anniversary of D-Day, we are performing a series of songs made popular during WWII and which would have been heard at the USO during the war. Songs such as: Boogie, Woogie Bugle Boy, White Cliffs of Dover, Nightingale Sang in Barclays Square, It's Only a Paper Moon, It had to be You and so many other wonderful songs.

Back 2 School Show A BACK 2 SCHOOL SHOW @ BELLE LEVINE ART CENTER

Putnam Arts Council’s upcoming exhibit, Back 2 School, showcases the work of PAC instructors and their adult students in a special Gallery show at 521 Kennicut Hill Rd. Mahopac. This exhibit, developed by the PAC Visual Arts Committee, is our 5th exhibit in 5 months.

Come meet the artists Sunday August 8, 2-4pm and see some of the creative visions developed here on the hill. The Show is open to the public Tuesday – Friday from 10-3 and Sundays 1-4 through August 22.
