Art After 75 Invitational Exhibit: Celebrating the creative efforts in original
Fine Art by working artists 75 and over. On display at Putnam Hospital
Center, 670 Stoneleigh Ave. Carmel, NY. Presented by the Putnam Arts

The Rainmaker: by Richard Nash. Set at the time of a paralyzing drought, a
girl's father and brothers are worried as much about her becoming an old
maid as they are about their dying cattle. Suddenly a picturesque character
claiming to be a rainmaker appears, and promises to bring rain for $100.
The rainmaker turns his magic on the girl, just as her father believes the

The Putnam Arts Council strives to include a variety
of events within its
Cultural Calendar
and attempts to include events and programs that
happen throughout the county and the region. Cultural
organizations that are
members of the Putnam Arts Council
will be given
priority. You may submit as many listings as you wish, but a maximum of two
per organization will be selected for any one calendar. Fundraising events are
generally not included on the calendar.
PAC is a not-for-profit cultural service
organization that supports the work of artists
and promotes cultural enrichment activities for
individuals throughout the region. PAC is
supported, in part, with public funds from the
New York State Council on the Arts, a State
Agency, and with public funds from Putnam County.
